Hi I have installed Fedora core 6 as a guest OS in Parallels for Mac build 3214. When it gets to the login screen it goes to the text based console window. Any ideas on why it switches to the text based window as opposed to the expected graphical desktop display? I have also tried downloading a pre-initialized VM image, which is accompanied by images taken through out the installation process, and the images show the desktop display being used for login. However even when using this pre-initialized VM image, I still get the text based login window. Regards Gary
