Hi,
I have the latest 21" iMac with i7 CPU; Fusion drive; Yosemite 10.10.1; latest Parallels Desktop installed.
My VM has Windows 8.1 installed; my C drive is in Parallels configured as fixed disk (Expanding disk off).
I have a 5GB file in my root directory. When I copy & paste the file, the performance is very slow. It reaches a max of 70MB/s but drops down regularly to <1MB/s. Check the attached graph!
In my opinion the VM does not perform well, at all. For instance, when I start Google Chrome I first get a black screen for a 1 or 2 seconds, before the actual UI is shown.
Does anybody have the same experience?
