If you use the Chrome browser under Windows, you probably know the fun of using the Control key for various keyboard shortcuts. Under Parallels, the stream of residual mouse events that enable smooth scrolling also cause lots of accidental magnification changes. This is because Control + Scroll maps to changing magnification with Chrome for Windows. And there's no built in option to turn it off. The only options have been to either sit on your hands for a second before hitting Control each time, or disable smooth scrolling in Parallels settings.

I've finally found a Chrome extension that requires NO extra content or control permissions in order to block Control+Scroll zooming:

Unless you whitelist a site for zooming, it creates its own mapping for Control + Scroll events, then silently discards those input events.
