The Image Tool included with Beta 6 for Mac does not allow you to work with floppy disks. Specifically, I would like Image Tool to be able to create a floppy disk image from a physical floppy disk in a USB floppy drive.
I have the same problem. I have beta6 and need a VM of Win95. I can't find a way to use the boot floppy I have to start the process. Where's the real floppy-to-.fdd tool? HELP!
If you have access to a PC and the real floppy disk, try WinImage, a small shareware app that can image a floppy to a .vfd file. SInce beta5 PW can directly read these files, so you should be all set to go. There was another post here that showed how to do this with the dd command-line tool, which might work on a Mac from the command-line, but of course you would need a floppy disk drive (on a Mac??? -Tim
