Font scaling Issues in Windows7 Pro VM- MacOX Mavericks running Parallels Desktop 9

Hi,

Have just installed and activated Parallels Desktop 9 and windows 7 professional on my new (one month old) 15" Macbook Pro.

Everything seems fine except that Font sizes on all Windows programs and Icons do not scale to the correct size. They remain large even when I change icon size to small (Icon sizes change but file name font size does not).

What do I need to do to get them to scale to the normal size? All other windows7 screens render correctly with appropriate font size.

My second question is: Now that I have installed windows7 pro using Parallels, is it possible to install the same using bootcamp? Or does the windows license now tied permanently to the Virtual Machine?
