free V5 upgrade from v4 problem?

A few days ago I downloaded the v4 trial. This morning, after receiving the email saying a purchase 'now' was worth a $10 discount, I made the purchase. Then I noticed that v5 had been released and that I was eligible for a free upgrade.

So my question: How to I perform the upgrade? I have received no notification via email regarding v5.
 
Serial Number?

When the free upgrade form asks for a "serial number", is this the same number as the Activation Key?
