FreeBSD and NFS

    I'll try and figure that out. But if it is letting it through at work on Shared setting, wouldn't it still let it through at home?

    I discovered FreeBSD doesn't use iptables, but three other firewalls called ipfirewall (ipfw), ipfilter and pf.

    But, I was talking about it with the office FreeBSD guy and he was saying there is no firewall-ing on in FreeBSD by default, you just have to enable the services. I had previously enabled nfs in /etc/rc.conf, which is why it works at all.

    May be missed something, but is it working now,
    I did FreeBSD installation and tested at home and work (at home I am using Airport, and installed at work the same connection) in my case it is working.
    Please let me know, if problem is there
    Just one thing.
    I didn't touch anything after install, just allowed nfs export for user home

    That figures. Are you using Shared or Bridged VM Network Configuration? Any other settings for the VM?

    I haven't really done much else to FreeBSD that I can think of.

    Can you post your FreeBSD /etc/rc.conf and /etc/exports?
