Full Screen on 30 inch display

Is there a way to have the guest (XP or VIsta) take up the full screen with the apple 30" display? I just got one and when making the guest go full-screen it only covers the middle portion of the screen (not full). The max I can make it is 1600x1200 running in non-full screen mode. It would be great to be able to have the guest use all of the real estate in the 30 inch display.
 
I use my copy with a 1920x1200 display fairly successfully. One key thing is that Parallels (or the Parallels display tool within Windows) seems to detect the available resolutions when Windows starts (from scratch, not a suspended state). So, if I start Windows in Parallels on my MacBook Pro with the big screen disconnected, then I can only get it to go up to 1600x1200 when I connect the big screen later. And I've had weird things happen when I try to go from the big screen to portable mode. So, you might just try shutting down Windows, closing Parallels, then restarting both after you connect the 30" display.

That is awesome! When I did what you said it actually allows me to make it full screen 30 inch. It is an unbelievable view.

How awesome is this? Vista Aero on a 30 inch display running on my MBP.

You won't get Vista Aero when running under Parallels as Aero requires a 3D card and Parallels doesn't emulate one. (Yet)

I stand corrected. But is still looks pretty darn good. What is the difference between Aero & Non-Aero? Is it a direct-3d thing. I do notice that some screensavers don't work because of the 3d thing.
 
I can't tell you as I've only ever run Vista under Parallels so I haven't seen Aero myself. (And, I've not looked at any demo videos either.)
 
Its just a whole lot of translucency and animations when minimizing/restoring/closing windows. They sort of "fall" away.

The title bar and border around application windows is translucent, and the control button kind of "glow" when you hover over them.

Its nice but not amazing.
