I thought parallels 3 was supposed to be able to play games but when I went to play Halo 1 on XP which is not nearly as graphics intesive as Halo 2 for Vista it didn't work. What am I doing wrong?

You are doing nothing wrong. Halo 1 requires Directx 9.0. Parallels only supports Directx 8.1. I think your best bet here is Bootcamp.

It might have the same issue halo did. Check the box and see if it need Direct X 9. If it does, Sims won't work.

    Hello,

if you are talking about The Sims 2, unfortunately it requires DirectX 9.0 too.
But it looks like you can start it on Mac OS.

    Best regards,
    Stacey

With any luck they will get more current Direct X support in the future, but we'll have to wait and see what happens...
