Games...screen Dark?

I have a brand new INTEL Quad mac pro 2 ghz. 3gb ram. I installed ghost recon and i can hear sound, but the screen is all black? Also, House of the Dead 3 plays good but as the game gets into the second level, the screen turns black.

Is there an adjustment that needs to be made? I am running the latest version of Parallels.
 
Hello,

first of all, make sure that you have installed Parallels Tools.
Than go in Configuration Editor of your VM, 'Memory' tab and make sure that 'Enable DirectX support' option is checked.

could you please provide me with two screenshots?
1. Please go in Configuration Editor of your VM (Edit -> Virtual Machine), 'Memory' tab.
2. Please go 'Parallels Desktop' -> 'Preferences', also 'Memory' tab.

Also please tell me how do you start your games? Do you use a full screen mode?
