1st off im sorry if this post is in the wrong location, but i find this forum quite confusing and dont know where i should post.
Here is my problem, i recently got my new 17" macbook pro after my vista laptop died. Im really happy with my conversion to OS X its great. I have Bootcamp running with XP pro and parallels also working on the bootcamp partition. the thing is i read that its possible to get parallels to work off an external disk, but can i get parallels to work on my old Vista disk? (i already have it in a caddie and read files off it)
So break down i want to be able to set up parallels to read the vista external drive and run vista as a virtual machine? is this possible? and if possible without having to reformat the disk and install windows vista again as i only have a product recovery disk.
thxs
