Getting VNC to work between OSX and Parallels Windows

I'd like to get Dragon NaturallySpeaking to dictate directly into OSX applications. For this, I'm trying to follow instructions found here:

I installed Win2VNC in Windows, and osxVNC in OSX. Win2VNC asks for the hostname of the server. osxVNC take a long time to start (normal?), and finally shows a config window with hostnameS and a spinning beachball of death.

I've tried putting both hostnames into the Win2VNC dialog, but both fail.

Anybody know where to go from here?
