GMATPrep on Parallels 3.0/WinXP

So I've been trying to get GMATPrep working in Parallels/WinXP SP2. With the old version of Parallels the program would boot up, but then give an error that I traced back to DirectX when I would try to do anything.

So I figured the new Parallels 3.0 would solve things. But no dice- now I don't get anything but a plain empty gray box upon starting the program up.

Can someone else install this program and see if it work on their system? The free d/l link is here; http://rubyurl.com/n6t

I'm on a Macbook Pro 1.8 Ghz/1.5 GB Ram.

Did you try to enable DirectX support in Configurations->Video?

 

Yup- first thing I did. And it went and installed the new drivers and everything. No dice.

I want to see if it'll work on anybody else's parallel's install.

From what ive see you

download the new JavaRe

then go to the GMATprep folder in program files

delete the files in the jre folder

go to the java folder, copy thos files to the new jre folder.
