Graphical and sound issues (crackling, distortion, static and cut-outs using BT headphones)

I purchased a Parallels licence primarily so that I could play games that didn't run under macOS. Now, I will concede that my MacBook Pro isn’t the newest anymore (it's a maxed out M1 Max), but I don't play games that are graphics-intensive, but I'm experiencing severe graphical anomalies, such as tearing, flickering, and the screen going completely blank. I've tried increasing the amount of RAM available to the VM (it's now set to 32GB which is half the available RAM), and configuring the VM to 'games-only' but neither of these has helped. Even 2D games have issues.

I also have trouble with sound; I need to use headphones with my MBP because there's an issue with the speakers and I can’t get to an Apple Store to get it fixed.

I have two sets of BT headphones (I can’t connect them via cable because I don't have one) a Sony WH1000-MX4 and Bose 700 NC, both of which work perfectly well under macOS, it's only in Windows that I'm having issues with sound distortion, crackling, static, and the sound cutting out altogether. This is both in games and generally.

I'm running the latest version of Parallels under macOS 15.7.3

What can I do to resolve these issues...?
