Graphics / OpenGL Acceleration with P/Desktop

I read in the Beta 4 sticky that 3D graphics is not supported.

Will the final version of P/Desktop be able to utilize the full power of the graphics cards in intel Macs?

It would be useful to get 3DS Max running, for example, but without full OpenGl acceleration, this would be a non-starter.

It's already been stated by Parallels on this forum that this will *not* be in the GA release. I'm not aware of any other VM vendor who has 3d acceleration support, except in beta form in the current version of VMware (on the PC).

I run 3ds max using Boot Camp -- works like a champ. Also, even if you did get 3ds max going in a VM you might find some issues with the copy protection mechanism discreet uses.
