Guest network still up when host network dies - causing delays with OneDrive/Sharepoint

Hi
I have a problem which causes problems when using Word/Excel when im offline.
The host network drops but the guest network thinks its still alive which makes OneDrive think it's still connected and doesnt put it in offline mode.
As a result, this means I have long loading times when trying to open/save documents as it tries to go out on to the internet.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Anyone have a fix?

Hello, Please change the network mode to bridge network by following the steps from this link: https://kb.parallels.com/8978 and check. Select the settings as Wi-Fi if your Mac is using Wi-Fi. If your Mac is using Ethernet, then select Ethernet and check. If the issue persists, then change the network mode to Host-Only network and check. Thanks.
