In Virtual Machine preferences, if I set the hard drive type as SCSI instead of IDE, will it improve VM performance?
when we configure drive as SCSI it will provide following advantages, 1. To use more virtual and raw disks(in the future updates) 2. In the future updates when Intel-VTd will be implemented, it will directly take advantages or underlying hardware in case we add IntelVTd SCSI adapters Please note, if Windows installed on IDE disk switching to SCSI may cause BSOD
