I've installed the developer preview of Windows 11 ARM 64 on my M1 Mac using Parallels 17, but I'm encountering issues with several programs not running because of missing MSVCP140.dll and Vcruntime140.dll files. Attempts to install the latest Visual Studio version from the Microsoft website have been unsuccessful. Has anyone else faced this problem and found a solution?

To resolve the issue with missing MSVCP140.dll and Vcruntime140.dll files on your Windows 11 ARM 64 installation via Parallels on an M1 Mac, you can try the following steps:

    1. Install Visual C++ Redistributable: Download and install the ARM64 version of the Visual C++ Redistributable from the official Microsoft website. This should install the necessary DLL files.

    2. Manually Copy DLLs: If the installation doesn't work, manually download the MSVCP140.dll and Vcruntime140.dll files from a reputable source and place them in the C:\Windows\System32 directory.

    3. Check for Updates: Ensure your Parallels software and Windows 11 ARM build are up to date, as updates may resolve compatibility issues.

    4. Reinstall Programs: After installing the redistributable or copying the DLLs,[/URL] try reinstalling the programs that were not running.
These steps should help you resolve the missing DLL issues and get your programs running on your M1 Mac.
