hdd file in use by another application?

    Yesterday I had a freeze on my Macbook Pro while running Parallels and had to reboot it. Since then, when I try to start up my Parallels VM (not BootCamp; I don't use BootCamp on this machine) I get an error message that the hdd file is in use by another application. I tried rebooting to see if that would clear the problem and it didn't.

    Any suggestions?
