.hdd size question

Hi,
I have a win xp vm that runs off of a .hdd file that is 125GB on disk.
In XP, my C drive shows only as 8gb. I am running very low on space and would like to do two things:
1. Utilize more of the 125GB taken up by the .hdd file from the VM.
2. (optional) Reduce the size of the .hdd to free up some space in OSX.

Can anyone suggest a way to get the first done without having to make a full copy of the 125GB .hdd file? I don't have the room to duplicate it.

The copy your .hdd file is always referenced to protect your image. Should it get toasted upon trying to fiddle with it you will always have a backup. Anywho. when parallels isn't running you can use the image tool (in the parallels folder) to make your image more to your liking. You can resize / reformat etc. Be sure to know what you are doing, you have only one chance (because you can't copy your image first).
