HELP 2015 Mac Book Pro Parallels 11 Windows Update Issue

Greetings

I purchased a new 13 inch Mac Book Pro along with Parallels 11 with the intention of installing my copy of Windows 7 and then upgrading to Windows 10. I've tried two clean installs of Windows 7 with the inability to download download windows updates. The updater just hangs at Progress stays at 0%. I do have an Internet connection as I'm able to browse the web no problem. I've now bypassed getting Win7 up to date and have now installed Win10 and still can't download any updates. I also can't run a 3rd party installer that has a secure connection (https) required to apply the latest updates.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I need this for work.

Do you have "Isolate Windows from Mac" enabled? If so, try disabling it, and run the Windows 10 upgrade again. This worked for me. It took me al ong time to find this workaround, and I can't figure out why it works.

When I reenable it, I am unable to get updates from Windows Update. Would really like to know what is happening here.
