Help Can't install Win7

Hi , sure could use some help here. I am new to this mac.
I have a Imac and Parallels 5, just bought last week.
I am trying to install in parallels a win7 upgrade .

It starts the installation fine and then the Win7 installaltion cancels and says to install from a machine that has windows already installed.

With my PC I am able to put in another win OS disc and it would work.

So how should I install this upgrade win7 disc on my mac for the first time?

Hi mmaddox,
to install Windows 7 upgrade, you should have previous version of Widows installed in a virtual machine.
