Help: Disk Read error - stuck in a loop

Backup VM, and try following:
1 Use recovery console and try to perform fixmbr

2. If there are still problems perform Windows repair,
Do not forget to backup VM

BTW, if you have purchased Parallels Desktop 3 after September 1 2008 you still can get a free upgrade to 4.0

No, I have tried every option that I have been given and I still get the same error message when I try to launch Parallels. Should I uninstall and re-install parallels and windows

I have the same thing with 5638 - disk is NTFS expandable.

Same issue

I have the same issue with the disc read error. I am running Paralells 5.0 and windows XP. I have re-installed parallels but still have the same issue. Please help
