help in enlarging hard disk

was trying to load my picasa pictures from my old wintel

soon ran out of hard dick, followed the wizard in "parallels image tool", increased it from 8000 to 20000 mb,

now in my parallels desktop, under resources it shows the increase to 20000mb. but when I start the WIN XP VM , and go to hard disk, it is still at 8000mb

any suggestions??

See the sticky thread at the top of the "Parallels Desktop for Mac" forum.

You need to "tell" windows about the larger disk. Why the Parallels user guide leaves this out is inexplicable.
