HELP... Installer fails on M1 Monterey

New M1 mac mini, newly registered Parallels of Mac desktop, install hangs without completing. Knowledge base seems to hint at an issue by suggesting delete, redownload, reinstall. Done that multiple times, same fail.

This is a new purchase and the support line simply repeats 'all engineers busy, call back'!

Any suggestions welcome and appreciated. I was able to install on M1 silicon laptop under Big Sur, but my intended workstation is a mac mini. Website says 'optimized for Monterey' so I am at a loss, not having used Parallels for a few years.
