Help me decide which is the best version to buy for gaming? Standard or pro. I noticed that standard edition only allocate eight gigs of memory and the pro edition up to 128 gigs of memory. I'm not actually sure what that means but I'm assuming that in the standard edition it only allocate eight gigs to use in on the professional edition allows use 128 Lakers if you had that much memory installed and were using a regular window system. Please help correct me if I'm wrong thank you in advance
 
Hello John, please be informed that Parallels Desktop for Mac Standard Edition is for home usage and you will be able to assign up to 8GB of RAM, Parallels Desktop for Mac Pro Edition is for the developer, designer, engineer, gamers and you will be able to assign up to 128GB of RAM.
