Help me Please URGENTLY impossible to activate the key !

Sorry but i don't speak very well english i'm french man
This morning i have uptading my software Parallel from 3.0 to 3.0 build 4560 and impossible to activate the key (serial number) when i have restarting my mac
i don't understand why i have this message report : The activation key cannot be used with the current version of the Parallels Desktop!
i have a serial number on my manuel but i don't uderstand why my key is wrong because before updating the soft all was correct and ok ?

This most recent upgrade of Parallesl is a paid for upgrade (not just an update an in the past). You will need to Buy a new key.

How i can to buy a new key from France ? is not possible to buy by net ?
 
Do you have your original box. That should have a web address. You may be able to download update from here, but I am not sure. But I would try and request a trail key from here http://www.parallels.com/en/download/desktop/ just make sure it works for you. Is your copy in French? Because if it is you may not be able to download form here

Yes i have original box, my copy is not in french :) but english. is it possible to uninstall the new version 3.0 4560 and install 3.0 whit the old serial number ?

If your boxed copy was a 2.5 or under no. You can not use the old serial number if it was purchased before May 1 I think the date was here in the US/ Not sure about Europe.

They ran a holiday special in December that gave people automatic updates for a year. If that is the case for you then you would need to contact coustomer service.

i have purchased the box in 30 jun the version is 3.0 only
i think that is better to uninstall the new version and install again the old version 3.0 no ?
49 usd is too expensif for just a new key :)
monday i call directly avanquest in uk to explain my situation is better no ?
 
Hi, I am afraid that the only way to avoid paying 49$ is to reinstall your older version. However, the new build 4650 is amazing and full of new useful features.

if i buy by net the key and i pay by paypal i receve the key immediatly ? and if i have a new version in 5 months for exemple i must to paid again 49 usd ?

the 2.5 key only works with that

I put the upgrade key I purchased into the first 3.0

24 hours later I upgraded to the latest without problems

If you purchased your boxed copy of parallels 30, June , 2007 request a key from customer service. You may have to register the copy first before they will give you the update.

One thing I found was that the serial number issued with 3.0 order - it was unclear if the letters were "i" or "1". A better font would help.

Try using "i" instead of "1" when installing the serial number.

The most recent parallels upgrade is NOT a paid upgrade. Anyone who currently has version 3 should be able to upgrade to the latest build for free. I am having the same problem as him.

If you would like confirmation that this is a free update for v3 customers, see this post on the parallels blog.
