Help me to choose the right license please

Hi guys,
I had been using parallels till 14, switched over to Fusion and now I seem to be forced to go back to parallels to get my Kali Linux running on my M1.
I have some issues with understanding the pricing stuff, i can either buy a version of parallels 16 standard (that's mine?) or buy a subscription for 1year for 16pro. My question is: if I buy the subscription and cancel it, will I be able to still use 16pro after the subscription is over? e.g. in 1year and 1month? Or am I forced to renew, and renew, and renew?

No, you cannot use a subscription after its expiry as the product will be deactivated. You will have to renew the subscription or buy a new license to activate the product.
