HELP! Parallels deleting Applications folder.

I'm getting really tired of the restore now (my apps folder is ~100gb), thank god I had a Time Machine running.

Everytime I try to run the 7.0.15104 upgrade the upgrade process proceeds to delete EVERYTHING in my Applications folder! What the heck?!?

Now the restored Parallels won't even start, I'm going to try to re-run my 15094 install onces this Time Machine restore finishes, AGAIN, and pray it doesn't go deleting everything too.

HELP.

I'd like to upgrade to 10.8, but I can't if I can't install this 15104 update!
 
I was able to reinstall 15094 and get access to my virtual machines, but I cannot install the 15104 update without it deleting the contents of my Applications folder.
 
Well, it seems, make sure you uninstall the previous version before the new version or you risk this at the moment!

After I uninstalled first, the new update install ran fine.
