HELP!!! Parallels rookie seriously concerned she's just screwed her software up...

hi, just bought a new macbook and just booted up parallels with xp. hunky dory. However, spotted this thread talking about the upgrades, sounded great as I was having issues with getting my usb pen to connect. Downloaded it, now its asking for another activation key my one with the bought software doesnt work anymore. Help!

If you signed up with an account with Parallels, click on MY ACCOUNT link above. Enter the email and password to get into your account, and from there you can obtain a new Key Code.
 
It says I can get a trial activation key, how long will that last for? Thanks very much for your help, parallels is one of the main things I bought the macbook for am so worried I managed to screw up the software already.
