HELP! Parallels tries to mount all volumes...

Today I have upgraded to Parallels Desktop from 4 to 5. Tried to start after installation. All available external HDs mountet automatically (why? I don't want this!!!). After a LONG time of activity (before starting the Windows VM) an error message appeared: Could not connect to ... (with the IP of a currently not running server). Clicking on "OK" leads back to the same message. This can only be stopped by crashing the Parallels task. So I can't work with Parallels Desktop anymore since upgrading.

Why does Parallels try to connect to all ever connected Servers when starting? How can I disable this? I want to decide, with which server I want to work! It is not Parallels job to mount any server! If there is no solution I will downgrade to version 4 and I want the money back I've paid for the upgrade. Thanks for your help.
 
It looks like after the upgrade (and Parallels Tools reinstallation) SmartMount was enabled.

Just disable this feature and none of theUSB devices or network folders would get mounted. Check here how to do that.
 
Thanks for your reply. SmartMount is disabled now, but nothing changed. When I start Parallels Desktop, all unmounted USB volumes are mounted and Parallels searches to infinity for any server ever mounted on the system. Win XP does not start.
