to sum up my issue, i was using windows 7 virtual machine normally until at some point a cannot boot into windows anymore. the error message is "Unable to connect hard disk 1 after thorough internet searching i have tried all of the below with no success - i installed a new vm and added the old hdd with no luck to boot - i tried to open it with parallel mounter again with no luck - deleted .sav and .mem - checked the path for the .hdd file - tried to repair with windows 7 dvd, the error was that no installation of windows was found obviously my vm hdd is corrupt, any other ideas out there to recover my files other then the listed above?
