Hey everyone I am a n00b to the world of Parallels Desktop
I was able to get Gentooo with Kernel 2.6.31-r6 to install successfully on Parallels Desktop 5. I have a few questions though about Parallels and Gentoo :
1) I had to use the VIDEO_CARDS="vesa" setting in my /etc/make.conf file. Does Parallels Desktop have any specific drivers made for Gentoo that I could use instead? Something like VIDEO_CARDS="Parallels" ?
2) For some straaange reason, even though Parallels Tools did install, it will not successfully go into full screen mode. I mean it "goes into full screen mode" but in reality its just a square in the middle of the screen with my Gentoo OS running in it and a large black border around the square that takes up the rest of the screen. Anyone been able to fix that issue as of yet?
