help with transitions???

i seem to have trouble with the transition between windows and osx the transition seems to start with a black screen rather than a seamless transition any one know what this might be? Please help
 
The only time I get such a transition is when I've stopped Parallels and Windows.

Windows then reboots and there is a black screen initially -- then some messages and eventually the normal Windows screen.

If I pause the VM I don't get such a transion, just fading of the window which I then minimize..

So I'm not sure what you are seeing is abnormal.
