Hide Menu Icons unexpected behavior

This new app is great. I really love it, but sometimes it behaves unexpectedly.
First of all to access the hidden icons you have to click the "hide Menu icons" icon.
I hide there my icon for Goggle Backup and Sync and normally, if I click on that I should see a small window sliding down from the menu bar.
But sometimes this window appears for like a millisecond and then disappear and the menubar resets itself to the normal not hidden icons.
The second time I access this app everything is normal and behaves like it should and to do this multiple times a day really drives me crazy :D

Are you already aware of this problem?
 
Thanks for reporting this issue, we will investigate it.

As workaround you can turn OFF the option 'Click elsewhere on the screen to automatically conceal hidden icons' in Hide Menu Icons to disable automatic switching to visible icons set. To enter preferences you have to right click on Hide Menu Icons icon and choose "Preferences...".
