Hide selected tools in the menu bar

A way already exists to hide tools from the Toolbox window. I am suggesting adding another checkbox (or you could make a contextual menu for each tool) so that you can choose to hide the tool icons of one or more tools in the menu bar. The tools I use frequently are clogging up the menu bar so that other applications have been pushed out.

Toolbox has a tool named Hide Menu Icons that allows you to set up some icons to be hidden (one click away!) and greatly reduces a number of icons in Mac menu bar. Give it a try and let us know if it's something that works for you
