hide winxp app icons from the osx dock?

Hello,
Is it possible to hide the winxp app icons from appearing in the osx dock when run either in single window or full screen mode?

so according to the guide, the two options that should hide the icons from the dock are

1. Do not minimize windows to Dock
2. Exclude Dock.

I have both options enabled, and yet the xp icons still appear in my dock.

I have a feeling these options are only in affect when you run parallels in coherence mode.

however, in my situation, i would like the xp icons to be hidden from the dock when i am in either fullscreen mode or single window mode.
