Hello, We are testing 2x client on several machines. It is very cool client and I think better than the integrated RDP in Win. However, we tested 2x on Linux (Ubuntu & Kubuntu) + Windows 7. On all OS's it is working great, but the bandwidth generated on Linux machines is about 3 times more than the Windows one. The configuration is 1:1 and for the test, one YouTube video is used on all. So Windows generates something like 30mbit while Linux client around 100mbit (using 1gbit network). Is there some specific reason for that or for example something with the network drivers maybe? Also, on Windows client there is "compression" checkbox, which is unavailable for Linux client, but even with no compression, the result is the same. RDP connection is used to view Windows 8 machine, if that matters. Best, Simeon
Hi, and thanks for contacting us. It is recommended that the 'experience' settings of the 2X Client are reviewed since there may be differences between the two product with these settings. If this doesn't help please contact the 2X Technical Support via email.
