High Sierra problem with Desktop for Mac 11?

Loaded High Sierra and now when I try to open Desktop for Mac 11 it asks for my activation key. I enter it correctly, get a green confirmatory check, but then I get a message that my license is already in use on a mac. I can't get get any further. Are these software versions compatible?

Hi @JonathanF3 , Parallels Desktop 11 for Mac is not compatible to work with Mac Os High Sierra. Please visit our website to purchase upgrade to Parallels Desktop 13 for Mac.

Thanks, Arun. If I purchase a new Mac at a later time, will the license transfer over from the old to the new mac or will I have to repurchase Desktop #13?
