I have successfully used the Eudyptes "SerialClient" software to connect my Keyspan USB serial device to WindowsXP but I cannot figure out how to assign it to a tty device in Fedora Core 6 Linux running under Parallels.
The Linux VM is configured for the /tmp/serial socket and does indicate that it is connected as Serial 1.
