How about a menu bar calendar!

I just want a simple calendar to display the calendar and current day's list of meetings.

Proposed features:

• Color menu icon option displaying current date.
• The current month's calendar with the ability to select next/previous months.
• The selected date display the list of calendar event for that day.
• Click on the event displays calendar detail information and double-clicking could open the Calendar app.

Things I don't care about that others might:

• I just want calendar entries-no reminders.
• The current weather? Not a requirement for me.
• Quick calendar entry. Nah, I usually get invites, but I'll open up the Calendar app when scheduling.
