How can I Perform a Windows XP Repair Install please?

I damaged the installation in a senior moment by installing the first beta 3094 and tools over the latest 3106

I have uninstalled Paralles using the uninstaller
and made a clean reinstall of 3106 from the dmg


I now get a blue screen crash then
black screen
start in safe ??
starting windows protected mode

4 choices the last start normally

(the win error messages are in danish because it si a danish OEM )

I need to get the VM to boot from the OEM CD
and I cannot remember what key to hold down to get into the bios

F8 gave me some more choices but did not help

in command line it crashed around loading drivers

I have reinstalled both Parallels and Win Xp

with Beta 3 and it runs nice and cleanly

On (non) Activation I telephoned MS help anf got a new code to reactivate WInXP

UK to New Delhi in India as a freephone

One issue remains I cannot connect to the old Parallels shared folders form WInXp desktop via the new shrotcut

in my shiny new MS IE7

Opening connection

user name HUGHWATKINS2B692\Gæst

but the password is neither known to me nor created by me

and is a WinXP issue
because the æ in Guest is created by the the danish system
not the Mac OS
