How do I install the ACT database on my mac pro.

I have act running on my macbook pro using a database on my desktop, but don't know how to make it a local database on my mac. I am not a tech person so it needs to be a simple explanation. thanks

I did that but when I moved it to the other computer it started loading but 1/3 the way thru it stopped and I got and error message: Unable to connect to the Database. Please verify the ACT7 SQL instance is running. My husband checked and it is running. What else can I do??
