You can prevent users from editing settings of existing connections, although the only way to force 2X Windows Client users to use a pre-configured connection is by using 'Managed' 2X Clients. These managed clients would effectively lock down the installed 2X Client and also the workstation installed upon creating a secure and centrally controlled environment.
