How do I resize the VM at startup?

How do I resize the VM window. When I start the VM it is so big that I cannot view the task bar when I am running Windows XP and Mac OS X. I can only see the taskbar when I go fullscreen. Also, I cannot connect to the Internet when I am in Windows. Any help would be appreciated.

Go into full screen, and in XP, set the resolution to something that will fit on your mac screen. You didn't specify your hardware, but FWIW, I use 1024 x 768 on my MacBook Pro and it fits fine with room for the Mac menu, PD tool bar, etc.

Canot help you wiht networking withot more info, but there has been a lot of discussion here; try a search for hints.
