Hi all hope all is well, I recently trialed a newer version of PD which has now ended and decided I would stay with my old version but I do not see how to do that. Whenever I open PD now I get a window saying the trial period has ended with buttons to buy, change edition (of the newer version), and activate - nothing to bypass this and go back to the old version. Do I need to download and reinstall the old version again to revert back or is there an easier solution? Thanks for your help, Erik
Also a related question: my license is for version 11 - does anyone know what other versions my license can be used for if any? Thx!
Correction: my previous version was actually 8, 11 was the version that I trialed. I went ahead and tried to reinstall 8 and now I'm getting a pop up that won't allow me to install unless its from a disk image -- apparently because I'm on mac OS 10.12 which won't install it according to another thread, even though it was working fine before the trial. 9 is doing the same and 10 seems to allow installation but won't take my license, neither will it allow me a trial due to a request error. Newer versions also won't work because 10.12 is too old. So basically I'm being forced to pay for a new version (and upgrade my os) -- kinda feels like ransomware. Otherwise I may try to reinstall an older os compatible with PD 8 and upgrade the os after it's installed to get back where I was before all this mess.
Parallels Desktop 8 is not compatible with macOS Sierra. If you wish to use Parallels Desktop 8 again, you have to downgrade to compatible macOS.
