I have Parallels version 2.2 that I got when I purchased my Macbook in 2006 (along with Windows XP). I have used Parallels to access Windows XP. I upgraded my OX to Snow Leopard and I can't use Parallels until I upgrade to version 4 (which is something I need to do anyway). Before I do this, though, is understand what partition I have, where the partition is located, and where my version of Windows XP is. I don't know if I need to know this or not, but I feel like I should in order to properly install Parallels version 4 and get Windows XP running.

Can anyone help me understand where the partition that was set up when my system was set up is? Or do I even need to know this? If I just purchase version 4 will set up just walk me through all of this? I am afraid to do another partition because I don't want to lose more space or compromise the data I have on my drive.

Any help anyone can offer is much appreciated.

    Thanks.
