How much ram?

I have a brand new MacPro with 10 GIGS of Ram.
(Count em baby - waited a long time to be able to say that..)
Parallels still comes up with the recommended of 1 gig or so.
Is there anything right or wrong with allocating 2 gigs?
Will XP Professional via Parallels ever be able to support more
than 2 gigs?

The maximum recommended RAM for Virtual Machine is 2048 MB.
