How to allow more disk space for Linux during installation?

Hi, I am installing Ubuntu 16.04 on a MacBook Pro 16". During installation, by default, Install Assistance shows the CPU, Memory and Available Disk Area to be 68.72GB. If I want to allocate 120-150GB out of my available 266GB to Linux, what shall I do? Thanks
 
I created the VM, shut it down and tried to increase the disk size. However, it is still 64GB. No way to change the size. Another strange thing is that under location, it points to SATA 0:1. Shouldn't it be NVMe 1, 2 or 3 in the available list? The TRIM is on by default. Since I have just installed the VM without installation of other programs, I can delete it and recreate.
 
Create a partition /dev/sda8 encompassing the space you want to use. If asked for a partition type, select LVM physical volume. Then run the following commands to add the space to your root partition
