how to eject drives properly

Hello,
let's say there's a usb drive connected to windows (not macos).
in order to eject it, I
1. eject it in windows by clicking on the usb icon in the system tray (buttom right of taskbar), then "eject"
2. then I go to parallels' menu (top screen) by pressing control-option, then moving mouse pointer there, then select usb devices, device in question, then click to remove check mark.
3. then I go to MacOS Finder to press the eject button to eject it from MacOS
4. then remove the drive

Is there any way to that faster and still save, and still without any OS complaining?
 
Hello MatthiasE5, if you are trying to eject the drivers on Mac. Please refer to the steps mentioned below.
1. On your desktop, right-click the icon of your hard drive and select Eject (disk name)
2. Select your hard drive on your desktop, go to File in the Finder menu, then click Eject.
3. Click and drag your drive into the Trash bin. Thanks.
